Finya is an interdisciplinairy artist from Utrecht, the Netherlands. She uses music and visual arts to explore herself, the intricacies of her emotions and captures these in an extraordinarily personal way. She's constantly towing the line between personal and private, and strechting her creative honesty to its edges.

In 2019 Finya released an EP called 'connect'. Originally written for the end assigment of her first year in the conservatory, they accompany a video by the same title. It consists of four intimate, vocal-focused, pop-indie songs that explore a coming of age story, with visuals to support this.

Synesthesia is a perceptual phenomenon in which multiple senses overlap and work together, causing senses to activate one another. Finya experiences chromesthesia, a form of synesthesia which causes her to physically see colour, shape, and movement when she hears music or voices.
