Synesthesia
/ˌsɪnɪsˈθiːzɪə,ˌsɪnɪsˈθiːʒə/.
[Noun] PHYSIOLOGY•PSYCHOLOGY
Synesthesia is a phenomenon where the brain routes sensory information of a singular sense through an unrelated one.
Projectory chromesthesia, the type Finya has, connects the auditory sense with the visual one, and results in a physical, colorful manifestation of auditory information. Finya phyiscally sees colorful shapes, that often move, and often have texture and depth, when she hears music or people's voices.
Below are all the paintings Finya has ever done. These are her interpretations of people's voices and songs.
Would you like to commission your own painting? You can do that here. It could be of any voice or song you would like. Your own voice, a loved one's, your favourite artist. But also any song!
